Marcus, you are so right. as for myself, I take

colostrum. its considered a food, not a drug. its lifes 1st food. its whts

in mothers breast milk the 1st 48 hrs after birth, it super boosts the

newborns immune wsystem. adults can benefit from it to, especially

those with low immune systems. it is expensive but i really believe in

it. you can read abt it hee

http://www.colostrum.org/

here is an excerpt:

Colostrum is "Nature's Healing Miracle",

according to prominent medical doctor

.

Medical Research shows that Colostrum is possibly

the one supplement that can help everyone that’s ill.

And the most important preventative you’ll ever find.

What is Colostrum ?

It has been called mother's gold-colostrum, a thick,

yellow substance that is produced toward the end of

a female's pregnancy and is emitted by her

mammary glands during the first 48 hours after

giving birth. While humans produce small amounts

of colostrum, a cow produces approximately nine

gallons during the first thirty-six hours after giving

birth. Each drop contains the promise of life:

immunoglobulins, growth factors, antibodies,

vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, and other

special substances designed to "prime" the body to

face a lifetime of invasion by various

microorganisms and environmental toxins bent on

destruction.

Why is Colostrum Exceptional?

As we age, we notice it takes us a little longer to

fight off a cold or flu, something aches, our energy

and enthusiasm have lessened, our skin loses its

elasticity and gravity takes its toll on our bodies. Our

focus turns to health and anti aging products and

knowledge. We each balance our own vitamins,

minerals and herbs.. many times unaware of

dangerous doses and combinations. We’ve looked

everywhere for an answer. We’ve asked plants and

minerals for something they’re unable to provide

because they don’t have immune systems to

produce immune factors and immunoglobulins and

they don’t have growth factors for muscle, skin and

bone.. With killer bugs at our doorstep, we need to

look to what was designed specifically for the

survival of our species. Aging, illness and death

occur with the loss of immune and growth factors in

our bodies. Medical science has shown in hundreds

of published reports worldwide that these can

possibly be replaced in the human body....with

bovine colostrum.

Why do I Need Colostrum as an Adult?

Research has shown that once we pass puberty, our

bodies gradually produce less of the immune and

growth factors that help our bodies fight off disease

and heal damaged body tissue. With the loss of

these vital components, we age and die. In addition,

the body is in constant battle with the toxins of

society today. Due to the air we breathe, the food we

eat, and the environment that we live in, vital nutrients

are always being lost and Colostrum is the only

source of these life-giving components (immune

factors and growth factors). Unlike other

supplements that isolate and sometimes overdose

the body in unbalanced ways, Colostrum is always a

perfect combination. Research has shown that

Colostrum has the demonstrated ability to kill

bacteria and viral invaders, stimulate tissue repair

(particularly the bowel lining), stimulate fat utilization

for fuel and optimize cellular reproduction

(anti-aging). No other substance on the planet can

provide all of these marvelous benefits.

What's in Bovine Colostrum ?

IMMUNE FACTORS:

Medical and clinical studies show immune factors in

colostrum fight Viruses, Bacteria, Yeast, Fungus,

Allergens and Toxins.

IMMUNOGLOBULINS:

Have been shown to provide a superior defense in

both treatment and prevention of viral infections....

bacteria and yeast. High quality Colstrum must be

certified to contain a minimum of 16%

immunoglobulins.

ANTIBODIES:

Colostrum has been shown to contain specific

antibodies that may help our body in its fight against

specific diseases such as pneumonia, RVS,

dysentery, candida, flu, and numerous other

illnesses..

PRP (Proline-rich Polypeptide):

Shown to possibly support and regulate the Thymus

Gland (bodies’ central command for the immune

system)... may help calm an overactive immune

system and stimulate an underactive immune

system

LACTOFERRIN:

A protein that has been shown to transport essential

iron to our red blood cells and also keeps harmful

bacteria and viruses from getting the iron they need

to grow on.

GLYCOPROTEINS:

(Protease inhibitors) A digestive factor that has been

shown to help immune and growth factors survive

the passage through the highly acidic digestive

system.

LACTALBUMINS:

Research indicates tremendous possibilities that

Lactalbumins can be highly effective against

numerous forms of cancer and viruses.

LACTOBACILLUS BIFIDUS ACIDOPHILUS:

And other friendly flora necessary for the digestion

of food and in the reduction of the growth of harmful

bacterial in the digestive system. Shown to

effectively combat candida albicans.

CYTOKINE’S: INTERLUKIN 1 & 6, INTERFERON

Y AND LYMPHOKINES:

Shown to stimulate the lymph gland and are thought

to be highly effective antiviral immune.

GROWTH FACTORS:

Growth Factors: Medical studies have shown that the

vital growth factors IgF-1 and TgF A & B and

nucleotides from bovine colostrum are practically

identical to human colostrum in composition.

Furthermore, it has been shown that growth factors

stimulate normal growth, as well as help

regenerate and accelerate the repair of aged or

injured muscle, skin collagen, bone, cartilage and

nerve tissues. Growth factors also stimulate the

body to burn fat for fuel instead of the body's own

muscle tissue in times of fasting (diet). Growth

factors also help build lean muscle. IGF-1 is one

of the few substances known that can stimulate the

repair and growth of DNA and RNA. These

growth factors help balance blood sugar levels

as well as help control mood swings. In addition,

growth factors can be used as an effective topical

application for burns, injuries and skin rejuvenation.

VITAMINS AND MINERALS:

Colostrum is not a supplement... it is the whole food

for the newborn... its combination of vitamins and

minerals are naturally occurring and in perfect

combination.

WellJust a question. If you take this vaccine to stop the pnemonia, then

wouldn't you be eliminating on of the biggest(not pleasent)warning signs

that food is going into your lungs?.I mean,The vaccine wouldn't stop tha,and

that kills too.

Yeah, I agree. I mean, look at the statistics, NF2 tumors have killed our

friends ,but many many times pneumonia plays a huge part of it too. I know my

very best friend Ginger (jimmy's sis) had pneumonia several times while in the

hospital and care facility before she died. There are different types, but I

think i will inquire with my MD if this vaccine is good against the most

common and lethal forms od pneumonia.

also, maybe he can shed some light. When i 1st started taking

colostrum, i felt icky, but i am very honest when i say abt 2 weeks

later and thereafter i felt the best i felt in ages. this was RIGHT

before my C5 surgery also which went off without a hitch and i was home

in 3 days, healed fast.

Marcus: You only have to have the pneumonia shot once in your life I

believe -- I'm going to get it this year when I get my flu shot and find out

for sure.

Hi

There sure is, I had my shot last week along with one for Flu.

My family doctor agreed with me that it could be very dangerous for me to catch

Flu so close to my

operation, and researched about how we are so much at risk from pneumonia.

.

pneumonia

I been researching thing, guess its my latest fear. Found it interesting

there is actually a vaccine for this!

PREVENTING PNEUMONIA IS POSSIBLE

Because pneumonia is a common complication of

influenza (flu), getting a flu shot every fall is

good

pneumonia prevention.

Vaccine is also available to help fight

pneumococcal

pneumonia, one type of bacterial pneumonia. Your

doctor can help you decide if you, or a member of

your

family, needs the vaccine against pneumococcal

pneumonia. It is usually given only to people at

high

risk of getting the disease and its

life-threatening

complications.

The greatest risk of pneumococcal pneumonia is

usually

among people who:

. Have chronic illnesses such as lung disease,

heart disease, kidney disorders, sickle cell

anemia, or diabetes.

. Are recovering from severe illness

. Are in nursing homes or other chronic care

facilities

. Are age 65 or older

If you are at risk, ask your doctor for the

vaccine.

The vaccine is generally given only once. Ask your

doctor about any revaccination recommendations.

The

vaccine is not recommended for pregnant women or

children under age two.

Since pneumonia often follows ordinary respiratory

infections, the most important preventive measure

is to

be alert to any symptoms of respiratory trouble

that

linger more than a few days.Good health habits,

proper

diet and hygiene, rest, regular exercise, etc.,

increase

resistance to all respiratory illnesses. They also

help

promote fast recovery when illness does occur.

Go to your Md armed with printouts about growth factors, the new life

colostrum info etc. Sometimes their memories need a little jolt back to

these areas they covered back in Med school. I did this last week, I have

changed Md's to one that is also a naturapath, homeopath as well as a

straight dr.

i have no doubt about the benefits of colostrum for the immune system..

just want you to check out the impact of growth factors when you have

mutated tumor-suppressor gene. they claim it only encourages good cell

proliferation and have shown it to inhibit cancer growth....still check it

out.

If you have been on it for 8 months, have your MrI's shown any changes in

rate of tumor growth? I also think it is worth mentioning re the liver

enzymes, it could be a good sign. rosemary

However, , I think much of the pneumonia that kills crew members is caused by aspirating (choking and swallowing in the lungs) on food. I don't think any sort of imunization or vaccination would help there.

PROVIDE HIM WITH AN HOUR AT NIGHT TO GIVE ME A HAND TO GET HIM INTO BED. THIS

ORDERLY IS SO GOOD THAT HE PUT HIM IN THE CAR FOR ME AND WENT TO THE HOSPITAL

WITH US TO GET HIM OUT OF THE CAR.

OUR SON AND DAUGHTER ARE KICKING IN MORE TIME FOR HIM NOW. WE HAVE THE

GRANDKIDS MORE OFTEN AND DON JUST LOVES THAT. OUR DAUGHTER NEEDS MORE HELP

SINCE HER HUSBAND HAS TAKEN OFF AGAIN AND IS NOT GIVING HER ANY SUPPORT. THEY

HAD BEEN MARRIED BEFORE, DIVORCED AND REMARRIED. THE FIRST TIME WAS A MISTAKE

SO NOW SHE HAS TWO KIDS

A HOUSE SHE CAN'T AFFORD SHUT OFF NOTICES AND EXPECT TO SEE THEM HERE WITH US

AGAIN BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

THE BABY WILL SOON BE 16 MONTHS AND INTO EVERYTHING. WE HAVE BABY GATES ALL

OVER THE PLACE. WE ARE SO NASTY. WE BLOCK THE LIVING ROOM WITH THE PLAYPEN SO

SHE CAN'T GET OUT AND I DON'T HAVE TO PLAY CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. SHE'S LUCKY

THAT I ONLY OCCASIONALLY PUT HER IN THE PLAYPEN FOR A TIME OUT. ESPECIALLY WHEN

SHE TELLS ME TO

SHUT UP WHEN I GO TO GET HER OUT OF SOMETHING.

REMEMBER SOMETIME AGO WHEN I TOLD YOU ABOUT THE MOTHER'S CURSE. " I HOPE YOU

HAVE ONE JUST LIKE YOU " AND I DOUBLED IT ON MY DAUGHTER. WELL SHE DID.

LOVE TO ALL

BONNIE & DON
