Guest guest
Crew, I found out yesterday that, due to s' track being damaged by weather and needing to be replaced, we (s) are not hosting a track meet this year (we always host one in April). Since we are not having the meet here, my head coach has to find us ANOTHER track meet to attend, and he has not done that yet. He told me yesterday that we may end up having to go to one on the Friday over our Spring Break. This is the same date as the LV meetings. I was planning on spending my Spring Break downing Cuervo shots chased by some Corona -yes, Corona still is the best, despite what some Yankees and Canadians say! :-), sitting by the hot tub watching Marcus (in his speedos) show us his in-flight dance. Or, maybe not! I haven't had a good look at Marcus yet..... If I do have to work that Friday, at best, we could leave on a flight early Sat. AM and return Sunday PM. I will have to wait and see for a couple of weeks, until we schedule a meet somewhere. Christi and I were really looking forward to attending, and I hope we still can. Whoever is making the reservations, or MADE the reservations, I just wanted to let you know we are not 100% now. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes! I will try to get word ASAP...... __________________________________________________

You think I trust my wife around Carla and ??? They have already made it clear they are going to pierce every part of their bodies they can jab a stick at, and tattoo the rest! Speaking of good eyes, last week Reagan and I went to see Dr. for our eye exams (he is monitoring Reagan's NF2-related cataracts and retinal tumor). Reagan gets PISSED when he covers her left (good) eye. She can't see but more than a couple of feet, peripherally, out of her right eye. It's pretty heartbreaking, but her left eye, they keep reminding me, is better than BOTH of my eyes. Of course, it's not a fair fight! First, they give me drops to numb my eyeballs (numb my eyeballs???? Didn't the Spaniards do that in the Inquisition? What are my rights under the Geneva Convention??) Then they gave me drops to dilate my pupils, so that even the dimmest light feels like 1000 flaming hot suns have landed on my face. Then they give me drops to UNDILATE my pupils (did he change his mind? Did they dilate too far??) My wife and mother-in-law, who we had dragged along, laughed heartily at my feeble attempts to read their eye chart. " Ummmmmm that one on the left looks like a 'U' " (it was a 'D') " The one on the end is a backwards 'S' " (otherwise known as a 'Z!') " He then asked me where my glasses were. I told him they didn't help, that I needed some of those Coke-bottle sized glasses, or a couple of magnifying glasses strapped to my head. He told me I had to be 40 to wear those, and then sent me out in the sun, with my numb, dilated/undilated eyeballs. __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Pat and I are working on at least one group dinner and some sort of entertainment event. This year the group is the largest group ever (whooo hooo) so, its taking a little longer for plans to come into place. (besides my 2 surgeries right in middle of planning UGH!) I don't know what else to say, tours and all, won't be planned, BUT you're more than welcome to do something like that,(or get group of friends and do that together) I would suggest to keep Saturday afternoon/evening open though. (thats day I am trying to have group dinner/entertainment on) Keep your eyes on website for updates........NF2Con Website: http://msnhomepages.talkcity.com/deckdr/earld/nf2con/ Hugs Caren (Fuzz)

Like will we be going to shows or touring together? I talked to my travel agent in law (sis in laws mom) I want to take a tour of a ghost town there is another way cool think its rafting down the colorado river the part that is in my catalog says relaxing and rapids free. Its exspensive tho 100.00 bucks a person 11 miles long with a lunch included. I'd love to eat at planet holleywood Carol mention she wanted to eat at hard rock. Will we just wake up meet in the hospitality suite and decide everyday? Don't want to miss out on group events but we are prepared to do stuff on our own as well......
