Guest guest
I am getting bored with my lunches. Does anyone have any suggestions for things I could pack? I only get 25 minutes. We do have a refrigerator and a microwave although there is sometimes a line for the microwave. Hi Janet, Sandwiches and fruit or salads would work. You could take soup in a thermos also, so you wouldn't need to heat it up. Hope this is of some help! ~Valeri 349/327/148 OP since 8-21-01 ~*~

Guest guest
Hi Janet, You didn't say what you have been taking, so I will just list some stuff. Low point soups (there are a bunch of recipies uder the files on the left <----), baked potato with broccoli or chili or just salsa, salads with or without a lean meat, sandwiches (low point meats...turkey, ham, tuna, with lettuce, tomato, etc), I have also just done cottage cheese (with onions, bell peppers, grape tomatoes, and a few green olives) and some fruit. Since school started and I seem to spend more time there instead of at home, I try to eat bigger breakfast and snacks, and then a reasonable dinner. I don't always get a chance to actually sit and eat lunch. Hope this helps, Maureen > I am getting bored with my lunches. Does anyone have any suggestions > for things I could pack? Guest guest
Janet, I work nights and bring a Lean Crusine, Smart Ones or Healthy Choice frozen dinner. I leave it out of the refrig. and then when time to heat it up it doesn't take so long as it is not frozen. Also, bring a lettuce salad and fruit. I usually eat around 11 PM and then do not eat again until 1 PM the next day. Never seem to be hungry. Kathy
