YOUR DAILY MOTIVATIONSaturday, January 6, 2001YOU HAVE THE POWER TO LIVE YOUR DREAMS.-----------------------------------------------The day you take complete responsibility for yourself, the day you stop making any excuses, that's the day you start moving down the road to success. No one else can do it for you.Only you can make it happen. You're the only one that has to live your life.Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibility. It's up to you to choose the thoughts and actionsthat will lead you to success.Your life will be what you make of it.Nothing will ever happen by itself.Success will come your way once you realizethat you have to make it come your way by your own actions. The power to succeed is yours alone.-----------------------------------------------©2001 Written by: MotivationMentor@...

Our struggling little chapter had another good meeting attendance

tonight. We had six people, including me! It is so nice to have that

many since we struggled all thru November and December with just

2 or 3. We seem to be picking up a little momentum.

On a personal note, I weighed in tonight with a 1.7 pound loss for

this week! I'm very happy about that. I'm stiving to lose 1 pound a

week. I would like to make my goal two pounds a week, but I'm not

going to stress myself out over that much of a loss each week, so

I'm aiming for one pound a week. The elation over a larger loss is

just an added bonus.

Even though the contest is over, I'm still exercising. It has been too

wet and cold to go outside to play tennis this week, so I've been

using the " dreamill " . I think maybe that is a better exercise for me

to lose weight, but I still don't like it!

This stretching thing that our Allied Supreme Commander

demanded seems like a good thing. Shhhhhh, don't tell her I said

that! My favorite is the side shoulder stretch where you put one

hand on the opposite shoulder then with the other hand pull the

elbow across your chest. I've known this one all my life, but seldom

ever did it. I'm doing that more now. Surprisingly, it helps after using

the " dreadmill " .

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and support.
