Guest guest
I think you might actually need LESS HC for tho0ugh your Bp is droppign it si overall high. I also think you need to get electrolytes tested as the pulse sounds suspicious for sodium/potassium issues and on that odse of cortiosl I would suspect you may have probelms there anyway. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Sodium 141 (135 – 145) Potassium 4.4 (2.5 – 5.2) Chloride 101 (97 – 108) CO2 29 (20 – 32) Calcium 9.8 (8.5 – 10.6) Above are my test results from last November. My aldosterone at the time was 7 but with sodium of 141 doc didn’t want to try Florinef. In May last year my sodium was 141 and potassium was 3.8 so that one was better in November. I’ll try cutting the HC slowly. Though I have seemed to feel better on more, you’ve said before you think I’m taking too much. I’ll see how my BP looks first thing in the AM. Regarding my pulse – it’s almost always in the high 70s first thing in the AM before eating anything. I take my SRT3 at 9 am and 9 pm. I continue to be very fatigued (with the “odd” good day) with lack of motivation and lately back pain. My temp generally is slow to get to normal (if it even gets there) during the day. This is getting very discouraging. Thanks, Dana From: RT3_T3 [mailto:RT3_T3 ] On Behalf Of I think you might actually need LESS HC for tho0ugh your Bp is droppign it si overall high. Guest guest
With an aldosterone of 7 you need Florinef. 141 is NOT high sodium in fact most people with adrenal fatigue shoudl shoot for 144 for sodium and 4.2-4.4 potassium. And as we leanre here alst week, piotassium blood testing may be woefully inadequate and RBC potassium may be much more accurate. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I thought I needed Florinef too but my doc said an emphatic no. I’m thinking that using the little bit of progesterone cream, which brought my temps up to normal and caused my ankles to swell, might have raised my aldosterone. Maybe I’ll use it again but about half the amount. Does low aldosterone hamper the effectiveness of cortisol? That might explain a lot. . . I’ve assumed that my aldosterone is low because of frequent urination and a tendency to perspire very heavily when the weather is hot. Anyway, maybe the P will help. I’ll try it again. And I’ll also bump up my potassium supplementation a bit. Were any of those red cell K tests available without a doc’s order?
