Guest guest
Glad everything is working out for you! I'm still thinking about that Orbitrek thing! LOL Sharon 's Saturday Weigh In I am learning so much with tracking everything I do at dietwatch. When I did WW, I didn't keep an ongoing track of what I did. Plus, if I messed up and went over points, I wouldn't count them up after I was done, I would just start over the next day. This week I decided mid-week that no matter if it was even just 5 minutes that I would get on the Orbitrek at least once every day. I have a goal of 15 minutes, but sometimes you don't feel like doing 15 minutes (like late last night after my rare date with DH), so doing 5 minutes is a little easier to comprehend. Well, I rarely get on and just do 5 minutes, so I ended up with 20 minutes after I got up the courage to get on for 5. If I had thought I was going to do 20, I know I wouldn't have even got on it, if you know what I mean.Anyhow, all this hipe is to tell y'all that after going over my 2200 calorie maintaining number four days this week, I still did not gain weight. I logged in an hour and 50 minutes total on the Orbitrek, too. It looks like I might have lost a tiny bit, but not a pound and that's how I weigh is by the pound. Anyway, I couldn't feel better about this. To eat almost 3000 calories 4 days this week and not gain weight. I averaged 2209 calories if I add everything for the week and divide by 7. How funny that this is my maintaining number of calories and I maintained! I might have underestimated a couple of my meals, so where I did that exercise, it equalled out. It is almost exactly what all the books have told me. I would have thought I would have gained at least a few pounds, but I didn't, so there is hope yet!!! :-D

Guest guest
Well, today was my weigh in and I really needed to see some results after the last two weeks. I feel like I didn't work very hard at it this week, but I guess all my hard work last week is showing up some now. I lost a pound. I have to remember that is takes a lot to lose just one pound and that " just " one pound a week is 52 pounds a year. I am going to work a lot harder this week. I think that I would've done better if I would have tracked what I ate. Birthday cake and peanut butter pie this week didn't help and could've made a big difference, so I will be more careful with desserts. I still plan on making that peach cobbler soon. That could give me a lot of satisfaction without the calories to go along with it. I know when I plan better, I do better. Here's to next week! Thinking like a thin person, <><
Guest guest
Thank you! I never knew there was a diet version. I actually was out at a restaurant with this one and you know their portions are huge. I should just have something at home like this and I wouldn't feel tempted to eat half of that chunk of pie at the restaurant. I will save this recipe, thanks. <>< > , > Do you have the diet peanutbutter pie recipe? It is: > > Peanut Butter Pie (serves 8) > > ½ C chunky peanut butter (or smooth if you prefer) > > 1-8 oz. Container FF cool whip > > 1- 8- oz pkg fat free cream cheese > > 1 -9 " low fat graham cracker crust > > Cream peanut butter & cream cheese; fold in topping. Pour into crust & chill 1 hr. It is great frozen-I don't even thaw it) > > 5 points per serving (2 of the points is the crust!) > > 230 calories > > 11.5 gr fat > > 1 fiber > > If I don't want the points for the crust, I put it in a lightly sprayed 8 X 8 pan and freeze it. cut it in 6 pieces and each piece is 4points!! I'd rather have extra pie for less points. > > Hope you like it!
