Guest guest
HI Are you on any type of AD medicine? Sometimes I wonder if the norepinephrine in my ADs causes problems although it seems to help with my edema problems. Otherwise in my case I wonder if there is a genetic thing happening. My mother has the same cortisol patterns that I have-low in the morning and midday, etc. There seems to be a thyroid thing going on on that side of the family. I wonder if cortisol and thyroid disruptions including RT3 are genetic and that those who make RT3 will keep making it. Could this be the case with you? Did anything happen which started your problems? Like an illness or something? I am beginning to think I will simply be on cytomel alone forever. Guest guest
No ad's don;t need them AT ALl since getting my T3 levels up. Haven;t taken any thing like hat in MANY years. BUT I have NO IGF-1 which is a strange hormone to be missing and no one seems to knwo much about it. And I have Diabetes an am insulin dependent whichMAY well have a bearing on this. There si too little known abotu all the causes of hugh RT3 to really findout everything that cn cause it. It is JUST recently int he last 2 years being really investi9gated adn realised it si a real problem for MORE than the few rare people we have been told might suffer from it. As usual the medical field is behind the times in discovering another MAJOR piece to the puzzle of thyroid disease. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Guest guest
Sometimes I think Dr. Denis is doing harm to the RT3 cause because so many Dr.s dismiss his controversial treatment. I wish they would realize that despite any problem with Dr. 's treatment approaches and aspects of his theories, that RT3 is still a really big problem for people and it does needed to be treated carefully and particularly with T3. I feel like doctors have thrown the baby out with the bathwater and refuse to look at the RT3 problem aside from Dr 's approach.
Guest guest
I agree 100%! Though he has formulatd some of the fix hisi treamtnet protocols would be HORRBLE for people wit too weak adnreals and I really do nto feel for most the horrid VERY high doses of t3 are needed. Just persistence and gtting T4 levels to a minimum. Then finding the cause of the high Rt3 in the first place so it doesn't return. That can be like looking for a needle in a haystack, but if more research were done itmigh tnot be so very hard. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

When I went to a doctor who used Armour I had just found I had an RT3 problem. When I mentioned T3 only, all he said was, " I don't believe in all that stuff. " And he upped my Armour dose when my free T4 was 1.9. But you can't totally blame when the others don't bother to follow the clues. Guest guest
In my talks with the pharmacists at Womens International Pharmacy...2 of them told me that 75 mcg of T3 is dangerous and unusual. One women takes 5 mcg herself. So, even pharmacists dont get it. Guest guest
My doc is pretty liberal and open minded and even he was very nervous about prescribing me 30 mcg of cytomel (I asked for 40 because I went off SR T3). He used to practice 's but then he said he was going off of symptoms and when he checked the blood tests of all of the patients only one or two actually had high RT3. He then totally wrote off the protocol. I wish people would still check for RT3 via blood tests and just take them of T4, then raise the T3 slowly by symptoms/temps.
