Hi Sharon,

I know what you're going through. I've been a member since September and

have only lost 30 pounds. It's very hard. I don't follow the plan 100% either. I

try to be good during the week and know that on weekends it will be a little

tougher. The past couple of months I've really tried to be on a regular

schedule for workouts and that seems to help out, but I have a major

weakness for chocolate and everything bad for me. This has been going on

for my entire life and frankly it's just not that easy to break habits that have

been in play for so many years. I do feel better and healthier than I ever have

before and I actually crave fruit now. Go figure. It's tough but if you can try

to

stick with it, it will be rewarding.

Good Luck,

Debbie

>

> Ya know, I go and read all the success stories and hear about how

people have lost 100 plus pounds, etc. and they talk about how it wasn't

even hard! Heck, it's very hard for me! I joined WW on July 12th and lost 7

lbs. the first week then I plateaud for about 3 weeks. Lost 2 more pounds the

next week. You're saying " well, that's 9 lbs. lost in a month. Not bad at

all. " I

would tend to agree with you, but I have now gained 2 lbs. because for a

solid week I lost my mind and ate everything in sight! So, here I am on week

#6 or 7 and have lost the exact same weight as I done on week # 1! That is

total discouraging! And you know what else? It's all my fault and I know it!

I

don't follow the plan for more than a few days at a time and I don't exercise

exept here and there! Geez! Will someone please hit me over the head with a

bat?

Sharon,

I know that it is hard, but try not to get discouraged. Try to

refocus on the reasons that you want to lose the weight. Maybe even

make a pros and cons list and then post it on the fridge. You have

proven that you can do it, when you really want to. Now all you have

to do is convince yourself that you really do want to do it!

We are here when you need help!

Why don't you go?

Re: What's my problem?

I have a suggestion that worked for me and still works for me even though I reached goal and am on maintenance I still need reenforcement...so I go to sit in on a second meeting just to get me thru...it seems that I need to convince my brain that I am going to win this battle my way. TRY going to a second meeting during the week and see if it works....ANNA

********************************

I dont' even go to a first meeting, so going to a second would be impossible! :)

Why don't you go?

I work evening shift for one thing and just don't like, nor am I comfortable being around people in that type of setting. I tried it a few times and just hated it.
