Guest guest
Hi all, I'm very glad I found you. I have been recently diagnosed, but have experienced the pain for quite some time now. I think I was avoiding the obvious and wanted it to be something " easily treated and cured " . My doctor is doing more bloodwork to find out which Rx's would work best for me. The pain seems worse these days, but maybe because I'm finally allowing myself to feel it(?) I work as a lab tech part time, and may be able to transfer to more of a counseling position at work to ease some of it. I'm also a reiki master and feel - of course - that I should be able to treat myself and just make this all stop!! :-) LOL! A question for all of you: When you were first diagnosed, what was the most useful advice you were given...or even some advice you should have ignored? Oh, BTW, I am in my mid 50's and have a very supportive family. This means a whole lot, but it would be so beneficial to me to have others to share with - locally or here - who have been thru it and can empathize. Thanks and blessings, Laureen > Welcome to the group Hope.
