Guest guest
, I am so glad you're back! We missed you very much. I hope your life and body are healing and getting back into a routine will continue to speed your progress along. Constance I'm Baaack!! OK - now that everything is *finally* settled down in my body, head, and house... I can now spend time on the computer and re-involve myself with all of you!! We were having some email problems on top of everything else going on so I could post to the WW Boards and BCB Boards, but not answer email - and now I'm so far behind with answers that I'm just going to start over today :-) Good Stuff... WELCOME to all the new members of the last couple weeks!! We haven't been too chatty lately, but know that there are many wonderful people here ready and willing to help!! Be sure to check out the files, bookmarks, and past messages for really helpful tools, tips, and recipes!! CONGRATULATIONS to all the "losers" lately!! HANG IN THERE everyone else!! I am starting the program over today - I gained back everything I lost, so I'm really starting over!! I made sure my binge foods were gone last night so I have a chance this week. If I can get through this first week I'll be ok!! AWARD CLUB will start again this week. I'm so sorry I've fallen behind :-( I will have time towards the end of the week to make the awards and get them out!! I will be sending out an email to those that requested the awards later this week so I can make sure I have updated losses for you!! THANK YOU again everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. I know I was out of touch for a while but I looked forward to reading all your emails everyday. I so appreciate the concern. I never would have made it without knowing all of you were here. I also appreciate all the work you did keeping this list going without me!! I missed not being able to talk with all of you. I know some of you have started working again with school starting and I hope soon we'll hear from you again. Not so good stuff... Looks like the company Rick works for lost 9 people in New York. I feel bad for *everyone* involved. After a week of mourning I am ready to get back to some normalcy. You know it's bad when you look forward to watching Teletubbies and Caillou just to see something besides all the bad news. I know this is a great tragedy - and I'm not making light of the situation. But I also know we need to trust our leaders and start living our lives again. We need to remember that good things are happening around us everyday too!! We can not remain fearful and reserved - "they" win if we do. It felt so good to get out of the house over the weekend. Out in public and away from the tv and radio. I made a flag from fun foam over the weekend with my kids to put in the window. I also made some red, white, and blue magnets and pins with the fun foam. Tonight we are going to make some red, white, and blue pom-poms for our cars and mailboxes and the kids will bring some to school to give to the kids in their classes so they can have warm-fuzzies on their desks. I found an adobe acrobat picture of two flags (one straight and one waving) that you fold over a straw or stick. I've printed some out so I can laminate them and the kids are going to wrap them around straws and plant them along our walkway outside. Well, enough rambling from me for now!! Time to start drinking my water!! I wish everyone a GREAT DAY!! I will talk to you all later :-) ~~
Guest guest
WELCOME BACK, ! Yes, it's been a hectic and very sad time and I'm so sorry to hear about the people your husband worked with. I can understand how the Teletubbies helped. On Tuesday afternoon I went to my 3-year-old granddaughter's dance class; it was so good to see those little girls dancing and laughing that it kind of helped get my mind off the attack and all the bad news. Good for you for getting back on the WW program!! Where did you find the adobe acrobat flag photo? I'd like to print it out, once my home computer gets fixed, and laminate it. Guest guest
Thanks Katy!! I'll add the acrobat file to our files in the Misc. folder. We had fun laminating ours tonight and wrapping them around bamboo skewers - the kids poked them into our yard and a couple of the neighbor's yards!! We also taped some to the back of the mailboxes. I'm going to paint a flower pot tonight red, white, and blue so Rick can take it to work to use as a pencil holder. Enjoy the flags!! ~~ Where did you find the adobe acrobat flag photo? Guest guest
You know Sherrie - the only way I could get back into this was to take a couple of weeks off and then start over. And I mean I was *way-off* - I didn't even think about the program. Once my head was back to a place that told me I wanted to change - then I started over. Yesterday wasn't hard for me at all because I *want* to get back to where I was before these last two babies of mine!! My mind is made up and I know I want to lose these 70 pounds I gained with Candyce. And I know I can do it, too!! Especially with the help of all of you!! Maybe that's what you need to do too?!?! Maybe not... but just remember you have *lots* of support from me and all the others here!! ~~ , I need a kick to get me back on track...
