I think Kari has the info on that. August, Most high protein low carb bars contain glycerine, which is used to make the bars soft and palatable, otherwise they would be hard. However, in some people, the body views glycerine as a carb therefore it can set off carb cravings and also cause weight loss stalls. Several of us on this list can not eat the bars and still lose weight regularly. Many eat the bars daily with no problems.
