Guest guest
" ABANDONED GRIEF " Poetry by Mr. Basanta Kar (This is the story of Ms Bindu (name changed) a sex worker (19 years) of Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh (INDIA) who lost her parents in early child hood, left study and drawn into this profession.) Abandoned I grow. Destiny deserts parents struggling to survive for the person ideal change life love fulfilled peace indefinite. Alone I am lonely. Crowd begets monotony. Tears wrung down I break. Sharing stories unheard sweet nostalgia haunts agony and torture I undergo. Scary moments compulsion and grief " on sale " . Heart in exchange sharing pleasure absorbing sorrow This profession I sanction. For me dignity redefined. Buying high risk bond of business relationship. Romance in barter crowd gives company a better living earn and learn the past burn. _______________________ Sugata Ganguly E-mail: <sugataids@...> Ps/ Note of Sugata: Mr Basanta Kar is presently associated with CARE India in the capacity of State Program Representative of Chhattisgarh state.
