Well the funny thing is that the next car I owned was a stick shift--I

taught myself how to drive it. Ever since then I've driven whatever

has come my way. Manual transmissions are cheaper but getting harder

to find!

LOL--move the seat forward!!

I had a boy friend in high school with a big old truck with out

power steering and it was a stick. Even with the seat all the way

forward I also had a hard time reaching the pedals. The gas was

alllll the way to the right and it seemed like the clutch was at

least a mile away (LOL) from the gas. That puppy was hard to

drive!!!!

I had a boy friend in high school with a big old truck with out

power steering and it was a stick. Even with the seat all the way

LOL... I had a bf with one of those trucks and I soon realized the

lack of power steering and stick shift offered good excuses to keep

his elbow rubbing against my chest every time he took a corner (we

went in a lot of circles during those days, lol), since he had to

crank the steering wheel, or reaching between my cute teenage legs to

shift gears (ok, we went in a lot of circles and up a lot of hills).
