I was 21. Just got my first job and took the bus and then finally got

my driver's license. Took driver's ed in high school but lived right

near college so I walked every day. Plus all we had in the family was

Olds 98s and they were tanks and I wanted no part of driving one of

those.

Anyway, my first car was a brand new one. Heck I was working and

living at home. It was a 1982 Datsun 210 and it was dookie brown.

graduation....i was 18

I should have guess it was your post. I not only remember them I had 2 pints, 1

blue one one green one (that was a stationwagon) and a red bobcat, which was

blue one one green one (that was a stationwagon) and a red bobcat, which was

There we go. I have all ways wanted a black convertable VW, not one of the new

ones, I would take it though but the good old bug!!! Had a yellow hard top

once. I liked that bug!

A 1963 Dodge Dart, white, with NO POWER STEERING!

My parents needed their cars and since I was working and getting As in

school they felt I had earned it. Nothing like being one of the first

in your group to have a car--all of a sudden you have more friends

than before!

I had just turned 18 and was headed off to college when I was

surprised with a Dodge Dart. Glittery green with a great white racing

stripe.

I would LOVE to find another in great condition. That car was great.

Yup, us old broads have to stick together! I remember the Bobcat too! It broke

my heart when I got married later that year and my Dad wouldn't let me take the

Pinto with me. We ended up with an ancient Ford Fairlane - not the same at all!

big truck is paid off I want one of the new convertibles (used). LOL

big truck is paid off I want one of the new convertibles (used). LOL

the amount of diesel fuel it is taking to take my kids to school,

speech therapy & sports is killing me at $3.00 a gallon!!!!
