Hi Gang! Just want to remind everyone that a loss is a loss! I hear

so many people (some here and some on the WW website) say that

they " ONLY " lost X amount of weight this week. Well... I have lost a

whopping 15.8 pounds since March first (yep, that would be 28 weeks -

Sharon doesn't that make you feel better)! Isn't that the slowest of

the slow? Well, I celebrate even the .1 losses because they are

losses none the less! Also, it's not about the weekly number on the

scale but about the long term goal of changing our lifestyle and

eating habits - losing the weight is just an added bonus! Now, I may

have to reread this tomorrow after my weigh in (I just feel a gain

this week comin' on) but I won't let a gain upset me either because I

know that I am doing much better than I would have had I never joined

WW or this wonderful group!

Every one have a great weekend!

, That was a very inspiring message. I have lost a whopping 5 lbs in 8 weeks. I am totally frustrated, but try to remind myself that at least the scale is going in the right direction - no matter how long it takes. Thanks for the good words.

You are absolutely right! Maybe I will save this and read it daily to keep me up to form! I do try to picture a lb. of hamburger and remember that each pound of fat is the same size! That's alot of fat off my body! And then when I get discouraged over only losing 12 lbs. then I tell myself that losing 12 lbs. is better than NOT losing 12 lbs.!
