Position: DEPUTY DIRECTOR Location: New Delhi Broad Job Responsibilities: The Deputy Director is responsible for supporting the Project Director in providing technical and operational support to EAP state-level programme staff and national technical unit staff. He/she would be required to monitor the national and international HIV policy environment and provide staff with updates; assist in developing a broader political advocacy strategy at National and State levels and work on programme areas of priority as required Work Experience: Persons with work experience in public health or HIV/AIDS policy and advocacy are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: Post graduate degree in social work, social sciences, public health, community medicine, basic sciences AND/OR an advanced degree in public policy or any related discipline. Preferred Competencies: * Strong policy advocacy-related skills * Technical experience in HIV/AIDS areas, and working with vulnerable populations * Strong management and operations skills for programme support * Excellent oral and written communication skills in English * Proficiency in writing and preparing reports Position: SENIOR POLICY/MONITORING & EVALUATION ADVISOR Location: New Delhi Broad Job Responsibilities: The Senior Policy/Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor is responsible for policy analysis and technical support for the implementation of the EAP's monitoring and evaluation framework. He/she would be required to plan, implement and participate in advocacy and policy dialogue activities and workshops as guided by the overall programme. Responsibilities would include the development and dissemination of advocacy tools and materials, where appropriate. Work Experience: Persons with work experience in health or HIV/AIDS policy and advocacy are encouraged to apply. Experience of advocacy and policy dialogue activities and workshops and monitoring and evaluation programmes is desirable. Qualifications: Post graduate degree in social work, social sciences, public health, community medicine AND/OR an advanced degree in public policy or any related discipline. Preferred Competencies: * Strong policy advocacy-related skills * Ability to develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plan * Proficiency in writing and preparing reports Position: STATE ADVOCACY ADVISOR, NAGALAND Location: Kohima, Nagaland Broad Job Responsibilities: The State Advocacy Advisor will be responsible for directing the EAP's work in Nagaland including technical, programmatic, operations and management based activities. This includes ensuring that all state and district level activities including monitoring and evaluation activities are implemented according to work plans. Liaison with Project Director and maintenance of stakeholder relationships at state and district levels are essential. Work Experience: Demonstrated experience of successful management of HIV/AIDS programmes or similar public health activities. Documented experience of policy and advocacy activities in the field. Qualifications: Post graduate degree in social work, social sciences, public health, community medicine AND/OR an advanced degree in public policy or any related discipline. Preferred Competencies: * Technical expertise in HIV/AIDS programmes * Knowledge and experience of management and operational systems, contracting procedures, budgets, and financial reporting * Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and main language of state Position: PROGRAMME COORDINATOR, NORTHEAST Location: Guwahati Broad Job Responsibilities: The Programme Coordinator, Northeast will be responsible for regional coordination of the Manipur and Nagaland programmes of the EAP. He/she will provide technical and operational support to these two programmes, and liaise with the Project Director to ensure that these two state programmes are conducted successfully. Work Experience: Experience in the HIV/AIDS programmes sector, with a special focus on advocacy/training/capacity building activities. Management of programmes and state and district activities. Qualifications: Post graduate degree in social work, social sciences, public health, community medicine AND/OR an advanced degree in public policy or any related discipline.
