WE'RE RUNNING THE TORCH FOR THE PARALYMPICS!!

I apologize because I haven't been online for awhile. We are in SLC and have

been working for the Olympics and having a good time! I have to share

something really neat with you!!

Although the Olympics are over, the Paralympics are still to come and we

just found out that Mike, (my husband) was nominated and selected to run the

torch on March 7th for the Paralympics! I will run alongside him and push

in his wheelchair!!!

We are so excited!! If any of you have ever watched them, the Paralympics

are a great example of what people with disabilities can accomplish and

overcome. The community is getting very excited and we could not be more

thrilled to participate! If anyone lives in SLC, we are running at the

Gateway plaza at 1030am on the 7th. That night is opening ceremonies and the

games go until the 16th. I know NBC only does highlights, but MSNBC might

have more coverage. I watched the highlights of the Sydney paralympics and

it was incredible to see what these people could overcome and accomplish!

We are so excited to participate in this event and take one more opportunity

to expose others to CHARGE syndrome! We will send pictures online!! It is

only two tenths of a mile and we're not in the greatest shape so it could be

kind of funny, but we'll send pictures anyway!!

Thanks guys!!
