I'm not usually someone who posts to say I'm in pain... stiff upper

lip and all that... but today was a rollercoaster and I just wanted

to ask if anyone has had something similiar happen to them.

For the past two weeks the arch of my left foot and my left shin

have been throbbing pretty bad. Then suddenly last night I realized

that the pain was gone. It was tender and sore but nothing like it

has been.

I breathed a big sigh of relief (it's almost alien to be without

pain now) and stood up. BAM! I almost hit the floor. Pain shot

through my right foot and leg. I sort of fell over on the couch

because neither foot would function. They felt like these big globs

of lead except lead would be better cause I don't think lead would

send shooting pains up and down my legs. I don't know how they could

feel numb and be in excruciating pain at the same time but they did.

Then almost immediately a rash popped out on both shins and I began

to itch so badly that I wanted to scream.. (well maybe I did do a

little screaming- LOL!

The rash left after a couple of hours and I was able to sleep a

little.

This morning I managed to hobble into work by hanging onto the

walls. I looked pretty bad... white as a ghost. My Boss (a wonderful

woman) even came into my office and offered to rub my feet with

Arnica Cream. What a Boss! I didn't take her up on it but it was a

sweet offer. I worked until three and came home early.

I have a sensitivity to meds and cannot take the usual pain killers

and RX muscle relaxers so my usual regimen is ice, heat, muscle rub,

meditation, etc. Have tried all of that today but nothing has

helped. Not being able to walk is pretty darn scary. I HAVE to work.

There is no one to take care of me but me. Up until now I've just

toughed out the pain and thank God I have a patient Boss.

Then on top of everything a big lump popped out on my right wrist

this afternoon... it's tender but no biggie.. but it sure wasn't

there this morning. I'm beginning to feel like a hypochondriac.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Wow... what a ride... Arnica cream might really have helped. Might

try it next time? Hope your feet are feeling better.
