Guest guest
, Here is the website for the Nellcor pulse ox that we use. We use the NPB-290 unit. It works great compared to the N-200 that we came home with and the DME uses. We had the insurance buy us this unit. It has been great, very few false alarms and we use this unit whenever na is asleep, at nap or at night. We would never feel safe without one, neither would our nurses. But above all it is a TOOL, to be used as such..... NPB-290 One look and you'll see that the NPB-290 and NPB-295 pulse oximeters from Nellcor Puritan are sophisticated and easy to use. For starters, consider the performance of our proprietary Oxismart® Advanced Signal Processing and Alarm Management Technology. Oxismart technology helps to identify electronic and optical noise, as well as motion artifact. Even on highly active or poorly perfused patients, the NPB-290 and NPB-295 pulse oximeters' ability to establish an SpO2 signal is exceptional. You'll spend less time handling nuisance alarms, and more time focusing on your patients. It's the kind of performance you'd expect from the leader in pulse oximetry. Plus, the NPB-295 features a graphical screen for viewing plethysmographic waveforms and 24 hours of patient trends. When it comes to meeting challenging patient monitoring needs - from neonates to adults, at the hospital or in the home - count on the NPB-290 and NPB-295. They're just the performance you've been looking for.
