Guest guest
So, I upped my HC dose yesterday to 27.5mg and had a little more energy. My basal temp this morning was 97.7 and my avg temp yesterday was 98.6. My blood pressure today, sitting was 120/69, standing was 92/65. I took it again a bit later and sitting was 113/69, standing was 97/63. So judging from my BP readings, it looks like I may not be on my optimal dose of HC and may need more???? Is this why my temps aren't lowering to allow me to increase my SRT3??? Or maybe I need to just split up some more SRT3 capsules and try taking a bit more and see if I tolerate it and if it increases my energy......?? I'm feeling a bit confounded here. I would really appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Thanks so much for any help you can give me. ka > > Hi all, > > I upped my dose of SRT3 from 12.5mcg to 25mcg on 2/20 (12.5am, > 12.5pm). Guest guest
I think you need to have aldosterone tested. Seems liek when I see unrealistically high temps with hypo/adrenal folks I also see aldosterone issues. Guest guest
Thanks so much for the reply, Val. I'll check with my doc about the test. ka > > I think you need to have aldosterone tested. Guest guest
Hi ka For whatever its worth, I was on SRT3 from a really good pharmacy and it seemed to have an odd reverse effect on me. I don't know if it was because I combined it with cytomel, but as soon as I went on all cytomel I felt better. I have no idea if that would be true for you, but if all else fails maybe you could try it (unless you already have, which is a possibility) Good luck! > > Hi all, > > I upped my dose of SRT3 from 12.5mcg to 25mcg on 2/20 (12.5am, > 12.5pm). Guest guest
No, I haven't changed anything yet, as I'm waiting for aldosterone lab results to come back. And I'll also be doing new thyroid labwork next week, which I bet will show I'm still hypo since I'm still very tired all day. I'm hoping the aldo test will give me some answers as to why my temps have been normal on such a low dose of SRT3 and armour. If not and I'm showing really hypo on the new thyroid labs, I'll probably ask my doc to switch me to cytomel, or back to armour if my RT3 is under control. We'll see..... Thanks for the suggestion, ka > > Hi ka > For whatever its worth, I was on SRT3 from a really good pharmacy and it seemed to have an odd reverse effect on me.
