Does anyone know his track record for other issues? *Last week (Fri. night) the ice maker on on our Ref. sprung a leak and started spewing water everywhere. We were asleep and it must have run all night. My husband mopped up two gal. of water upstairs and one downstairs. It ran into his downstairs office and leaked on his PC. His business file are in his computer. Our house was built 5 years ago. 1)Living Room --- We have red oak floors that have to be ripped up. The sub floor has to go too. 2) Enterance --- is tile, subfloor has to go. 3) Kitchen --- Floor and subfloor 4) Vent system under floor has to go 5) All my husbands disc are runned, his keyboard gone, papers from OSHA and EPA are soaked. Then we can clean up after everything is redone, not to mention what we will do while the replacement is taking place. *Please check the line to your icemaker and replace it with non- burst or copper connectors, ours was brittle plastic and the Ref. was 8 yrs. old.
