Guest guest
Okay, so I'm preparing the celeriac to cook for tonights dinner... and I get to the root part and see some sparkling deep down in a dirty part in the tight roots. So I dig my knife inside and start pulling out little golden flakes. I went to break one in half with my fingernail and it flakes into three other flakes... They are mixed in with a deep black dirt. They are all over the roots, some the size of a grain of rice but thin of course. Anyone know what they are? Do they enrich soil with something looking like gold flakes???
