Guest guest
Hi I love Hong Kong, esp stinky's market, and ocean park. I use to live there, the first place I lived was up next door to the TV studios Tudor courts - my first experience of HUGE cockroaches. I woke up after a long 18 hr flight and theywere everywhere. I was living in a ground floor flat of a huge multi storey, complete with bars at my windows..lol Then I moved to Stone Cutters, a tiny island, mile long, and half a mile wide. It was great only a few lived there, including SNAKES left by the Japanese during the war. Got use to waking up to find Cobra's in the bedroom, and bathroom..lol. And as for the old shop " China Products" wow - totally amazing. And have you ever seen so many Mcs..lol. I would go back in a shot if I could. StarFerry, and the tram down the peak is one hell of a ride! mmmmmmm of in to dream land ............ Guest guest
Sharon, You're creeping me out with those cockroaches and snakes! The thing I feared seeing in Mexico showed itself one day in the rock pile that we were working at--a big ole tarantula. Made sure I checked those rocks real good before picking them up after that! We would like to go back to Thailand sometime. But that long flight is almost like remembering labor pains--a dread! I will be flying approx. a 7 hr. overnighter pretty soon. I'm in a quandry. I'd like to take a sleeping pill and try to sleep, but if I sit that long I'll be too achy in the rear, and need to get up and put circulation back in my foot. But if I don't take a pill, I won't be able to really get any rest. By the way, I appreciate the informative sites you put on here. I tuck them away in an RSD file in case I want to refer to them for a support group meeting, etc. or someone asks about something in particular.
