Guest guest
Hi - I'm new here and will introduce myself shortly when I've caught up with postings. I have had symptoms in my hands for a while and my PCP ran some blood tests. These have always been " negative " , but the RA Factor finally tested positive and he says I have RA. But after reviewing these myself, the numbers appear to be borderline to me. Is someone familiar with these tests and results? Here are my numbers: Rheumatoid Factor: 31 ESR: 23 ANA: Neg C-Reactive Protein: 4.0 Alkaline Phosphatase: 124 I've reported the numbers that the Lab said were high. I've been getting these tests for several years now (I have Fibro), but this is the first time that they've gone " high " . I usually dismiss every ache and pain as Fibro, but my hands are so bad that there are many things I can't do and are very painful if I do use them or even bump them against something. Thanks in advance,
