We bought

a Gazelle Power Plus a few months ago and I couldn’t use it longer than 2

minutes because my muscles would burn so badly. My husband put it on no

resistance and I tried it out… I can do it now! 5 minutes at a time.

We both

agree that activity = exercise for me so I don’t need any resistance.

Anything above and beyond normal every day activity is worth it. So I am

starting with 5 minutes a day as I can.

, what is a Gazelle Power Plus? -Jaana

------------------------------------------------------------------------

One of those big, clunky exercise machines that take up too

much space and usually go unused. I know someone who found one in the newspaper

for $25, but we bought ours on sale at a sporting goods store.

One of my best energy level times is around midnight for some

weird reason, so last night I actually spent TEN minutes on this thing with my

legs not beginning to burn until about minute 7. I was totally impressed. Then I

was asleep within 25 minutes after that!

If I can do 5-10 minutes without pain every day and try to

work up to 20, I could possibly wave goodbye to a few pounds and hello to more

energy from the endorphins.

It’s been a LONG time since I could exercise, but now

that I have changed my diet and added vitamins and minerals, I am feeling a lot

better. Now if only it could stop the pain in my arm as I type today L

Someone with FMS recommended the Gazelle because she could

use it without pain. I was going to return it as it was too expensive not to

use and I couldn’t go any time on it at all without my leg muscles burning.

Then my hubby changed it to least resistance and now I can use it.

I don’t imagine I’ll be able to do it every day,

and wonder how much of that ten minutes last night is causing my fatigue today,

but I guess I have to choose what’s important and right now, losing

weight is important as I am just so uncomfortable. I’ve gained something

like 143 pounds in 4 years. I am 5’10, so I have a lot of body for it,

but this is ridiculous!

Just since May I’d gained 43 pounds. That’s

friggin’ ridiculous. When I started changing my diet and supplements I noticed

I was in much less pain and had more energy. I have been able to clean more

which is my only exercise, so I think that’s helped me move up into

having the ability to go on this machine for a few minutes.

I won’t ever be running a marathon, but perhaps I could

actually kick a ball with my son again this summer.
