Guest guest
Hi to all again. First I would like to thank all who have responded to my questions and welcomed me into the group. I have been this morning for my third nerve block. The doctor was not too pleased with the last response and said if I did not get anymore help than one day that this would be the last one of this type of block. He did have me get an RX for Ketamine HCL 20% PLO. It is very pricey and I nearly fell over when they told me $191.00. It has anesthisia mixed with some othe ingredients and your put it on in a 2 inch square and cover with a Bio-Occlusive dressing each morning and if you do this religiously it is supposed to really help with the pain. Has anyone ever tried this and if so has it helped? One feels so helpless in this situation. I have appreciated reading some of your files and find it helpful just to know that others have the samed issues to deal with as I do. Friends and family just don't get it.....you know...like ..you had the surgery clear back in Feb....you should be better by now. I also deal with a life threatening problem....I have PPH (Primary Pulmonary Hypertension) and am on 02 24/7 plus other drugs for that and all I wanted to do was make life alittle better by getting rid of some foot problems that had been bothering me for some time...Did not mean to write an epistle of sorts. Forgive me and I will try to keep them shorter from now on. thanks for lisening.
