If one is fairly stable while walking, a three-wheeler might be a reasonable choice. It is light, turns quickly, usually has a bag to carry items, and normally folds down for traveling. Normally they have brakes, generally the " bicycle " type. The down side is that it is light and can tip to the right or left easily.
