Hi Jeanette!

I hope you are feeling well soon! My rheumatologist

gives me Prednisone for the RA but mine is limited.

She always worries with my age and my bones. They

usually start me on 2 pills a day, then 1 and a half

pills a day for a week, then 1 pill a day, then a half

pill a day. I'm never on it long term though, or I

feel so miserable with everything else (the RA, and

some hereditary conditions I have) that I don't notice

my withdrawal always. I just found a link that I

wanted to share with you. It is an article in

Arthritis Today that talks of Prednisone Withdrawal

and speaks of headaches and what can be done. I hope

this helps! I also read a great article on Prednisone

in the Sept/Oct edition of Arthritis Today. I love

that magazine! I tend to learn a lot from it and keep

my issues on hand so that I can go back to them for

reference (I have horrible cognitive dysfunction due

to FMS/MPS/CFS and anxiety, and all the medications) I

hope this link helps you!
