Guest guest
, My toes do. They will be fine one days then I start to feel themaching by 2 days into the pain the nails turn blue. I have good pulses and my fingers don't do it. I just chalked it up to RA, Fibro, or what ever diease happens to be flaring at the time. Guest guest
Hello, when I have a flare the veins of where I am hurting become swollen, and stick out in little knots. My rheummy told me that this was because when you have inflamation the body needs to supply more blood to the area, perhaps this has something to do with your finger discolouration. I particularly notice this on my fingers and also the underside of my writst. Have a great day. Pennie in Australia [ ] Bruising w/ a flare up??? Hi, everyone, I hope everyone is doing well and Happy Holidays. I am having a really bad flare up today and I was curious to see if anyone has the same symptoms that I do. Whenever I have a bad flare up, the joints on my fingers and toes look bruised. They don't look swollen, but they feel like they are. I asked my rheumatologist and she couldn't give me an answer as to why my fingers look black and blue. Do anyone else's hands look like this when they are having a bad flare up? Guest guest
Pennie, Thanks so much...that explaination makes sense. My rheumy never could give me an answer because she had never seen anyone else whose fingers looked like that. I was beginning to think I was alone w/ the black/blue fingers. Take care. > > Hello, > when I have a flare the veins of where I am hurting become swollen, and stick out in little knots.
