Guest guest
Hello fellow groupies!! I wondered if any of you know of a scale that goes beyond the 300 LB mark?? Even my primary care physicians only goes to 250! I know I am part of a small percentage of folks weighing this much (not for long I hope!!!) but we need scales too!!! Fortunately my ObGyn's scale goes higher....I just do not want to go there all the time to weigh myself. So aside from the weigh stations I see on the highway does anyone know of some good makes and models?? And if they are reasonably priced that would be all the better!! thanx!! Guest guest
If you go to a place like Staples, or Office Depot, they sell a weighing scale for freight, but it's small...not the typical kind you may think of...they can run approx $50 ish... Guest guest
Dear : I started induction (3 days ago) at 340. I guess we are in the same boat. That is one of the most humiliating things for me to go to my DOCTORS and I cannot get weighed!! Thank you for the advice...I may just forgo the weigh ins for a couple weeks...then I should be past the 330 LB mark. Last time I was on Atkins I lost over 16 pounds in two weeks. Feeling quite lighthearted-- despite my weight August
Guest guest
Glad I could be of some help, August. If I were you, don't worry about the scale for a while. If you are staying on track, you know the weight will come off. Then in about 2 or 3 weeks, you will be able to go on any scale you want! You and I face unique challenges, don't we? <smile> Let me know if I can help! Warmly, olliebrger@... wrote: > Dear : > > I started induction (3 days ago) at 340. Guest guest
I wouldn't worry about buying one at this point. Take your measurements and go by how your clothes feel. If your doctor has one that can weigh you go there when needed until you're at the 330 or less mark! Save your money for that new wardrobe Lyssa Re: Questions about SCALES...
