Guest guest
Shanna, I take Calcium in supplements because I will only have milk with FF/SF pudding or ice-cream. I do not like it and I will not even add it to recipes because I think it's a waste. Cheese would be the only source I feel is worth it and that can really add up. As far as not doing well with losing much. Just feel good about any loss at all, even one pound in two weeks. You have to cut or burn 3500 calories to lose one pound of fat. That takes time sometimes. Everything matters and helps, so don't give up. I haven't mentioned to the group yet how I have done since my original 7 pound loss since everyone else was doing so well. I gained back 4 pounds after my trip to Dallas, but today I am down 3.5, so I am almost where I was a couple weeks ago. I haven't worked out at all for a week, but that has changed today, praise God. I am back on track. Thanks for the support from everyone here. I am very busy and it gets hard. I just got this really fast cable internet connection so I should be able to spend less time online and more time on the Orbitrek. I would lose so much more weight if I could surf the net while working out. Maybe someday they'll make it possible. Meanwhile, I am starting over again as I do every day and every week. Food served as an outlet... I am fortunate enough to live near a YMCA that has NetPulse. Its a direct internet connection on a monitor on top of stairmasters, stationary bikes, treadmills, and elyptical (sp?) trainers. You get a login name and it keeps track of how long you are working out. It's better for reading message boards and just looking at web sites than anything where you would have to type - there's not a keyboard, but a screen pops up where you touch the letters/numbers (like a Palm Pilot). I don't know how you can find out what health clubs have these. I know our YMCA got them at very low cost because advertising paid for most of the internet costs. There is a website for NetPulse <www.netpulse.net> but it was under construction when I tried to look for a list of health clubs. I don't know if they have a list or not, but it's worth checking out. > Shanna, I take Calcium in supplements because I will only have milk with FF/SF pudding or ice-cream. Guest guest
Thanks so much Colleen! I know none of our gyms here have it yet since we are in a smaller town. Nothing that big could get here without everyone in town knowing about it. I am going to check into their website though when it's available. It is amazing how fast our technology has taken us over this last decade even. This has got to be science fiction. Thanks again, Food served as an outlet... I'll have to get some of this. Does anyone know how many points it is with the pineapple in it? Sharon
