Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Well I decided if I was going to be healthy the rest of my family was going to be too. I have had a few complaints from my 15yr old son, but for the most part he is surviving. I do buy him a few things that he likes that are not tempting to me!! He actually told me the other day that I looked really good and he was proud of me. I thought that was pretty special from a teenager!! lol in Colorado -----Original Message-----From: Sharon Gibson Sent: Monday, July 16, 2001 10:28 AMTo: wwliterside Subject: Re: Newbie says "hi" I am still buying the junk food though for the rest of the family. I just figure that it may cost more but the results will be worth it. Sharon Hi Sharon, here from Littleton Colorado. One way I look at it is that I am not buying the expensive junk food anymore. Maybe you never did, but I haven't found that it is that much more expensive to eat healthy it just takes alot more planning. I found that if I buy a thing of leaf lettuce and I come right home and clean it and put it in a bag with holes that it is much easier to fix a salad later. Does that make sense? Good luck to you on your weight loss journey. We are all here for you!! Guest guest
I am also buying some of the old " junk " stuff for the rest of the family. But the funny thing is they are all starting to read the label and compare. They even have started picking out better " junk food " . My two boys ages 9 and 10 and Dh are even using the Orbitrek and love it. My daughter would like to be able to but she is only 3 years old. So even though they are not OP, the changes in their eating and exercising habits are taking place.
