Opportunities as Leaders in Field of HIV/AIDSMediCiti SHARE (India),

as the umbrella organisation (Country partner) for HHS/CDC's Global

AIDS Program (under the US Government's President's Emergency Plan

for AIDS Relief), for a high profile Public Health HIV/AIDS Program

in Andhra Pradesh funded & supported by HHS, CDC-GAP, India, is

looking for senior and mid-senior level project staff for their new

HIV/AIDS Initiatives, across State of AP. Following positions are

open for highly self-motivated, hard-working, energetic and creative

individuals keen on working in Public Health settings with relevant

qualifications, experience and interest.

Program A – PHMI - For Public Health Management Institute1.

Director PHMI (Public Health Management Institute) (Code – MediCiti/

01):

Incumbent will work with SHARE / MediCiti, CDC GAP, and key

stakeholders in AP including, Government and International agencies

to develop forum for a HIV AIDS related program policy relating to

advocacy and implementation of HIV AIDS care and prevention

programs. Requires PG in Public Health/ Management, 10+ years

experience in independently leading a health program.

2. IT Specialist / Bio-Informatics expert(Code – MediCiti/ 02):

Incumbent will be a Health Informations Specialist to run an

innovative HIV patient records & information systems at a large HIV

medical care Institution. Is expected to work closely with USG,

Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and Satyam Computers on

Data systems management and data analysis. Requires degree in IT,

5+ years experience in IT management systems. This is a Chennai

based position.

3. Communications Consultant(Code – MediCiti/ 03):

Incumbent will be an expert in behavior change communications & /or

social sciences, to work closely and provide PHMI and the local

host government technical capacity support in planning, developing,

testing and evaluating culturally relevant and socially acceptable,

innovative communication and behavior change models. Requires PG in

Communications / Social Sciences, 3+ years experience in relevant

communication field preferably experience with medial and in a

community level behavior change model.

Program B – APAIDSCON

For the " APAIDSCON " the AP AIDS consortium of Health Care

Institutions working together to address the HIV AIDS epidemic in

Andhra Pradesh

4. Program Manager - Operations, Monitoring & Evaluation(Code –

MediCiti/ 04):

Is a senior level position as a deputy in the program providing

support in planning program management, logistics and monitoring as

an expert and providing leadership and managerial support to the

project, positioned with MediCiti in AP. Requires public health PG

degree, 3+ years public health and / or management experience in

senior level.

5. Clinical Trainings Specialist(Code – MediCiti/ 05):

A senior level position as HIV/AIDS expert providing technical &

scientific support as a specialist clinical consultant for

comprehensive HIV/AIDS curriculum development, innovative trainings

and evaluations with sound knowledge of public health / HIV

interventions, experience in trainings, curriculum development,

trainings evaluations & capacity building and a high level of

commitment and vision. Requires a PG degree in medicine/ public

health, 3+ years experience in senior level management & hands-on

experience in identifying needs, organizing, evaluating various

training programs.

6. Finance & HR Manager(Code – MediCiti/ 06):

A mid-senior level position providing HR / Finance and overall

management support as an expert in formulating HR & Finance

guidelines, budget plans, monitoring and giving direction to the

project. Requires MBA, 3+ years experience.All positions require

sound knowledge of project management & astute peoples management

skills, capacity building experience with a conceptual knowledge in

working in project settings, Monitoring and evaluation activities.

Candidates must have high level of commitment and management vision

with ability to lead a technically competent team towards achieving

targets. Above technical positions also involve travel within and

outside the State of Andhra Pradesh.
