So you're saying that you were able to exclusively breast feed your adopted son? That is wonderful! I always thought that it should be possible, but the literature that I've seen universally suggests that you'll need to supplement if the lactation isn't the result of a pregnancy. I can understand this when it refers to women who have never been pregnant (and thus had months of further hormonal breast development), but why couldn't women who have already lactated as a result of pregnancy swing back into full production with little trouble?
