Guest guest
Hi , the symptoms of LOCAH are similar to those of PCOS. Excessive hair growth and irregular cycles are the major symptoms of LOCAH. here s the website: http://www.caresfoundation.org/symptoms.html My case is pretty mild and it should not affect my fertility as long as I take the meds to regulate my menstruation according to my endocrinologist. Guest guest
Hi Rita, I did a quick PubMed search for clinical journal artilces about CAH, and the answer I think is that it doesn't make you any more likely to have MA. But, I don't know about " late onset " kind. If you'd like to search, go to pubmed.gov. Enter your search terms in the box at the top, and you'll get back journal articles. You can't read them (no subscription), but you'll be able to read the abstract or summary if you click on the title, and that'll give you the gist. Guest guest
> Do you know if there a link between LOCAH and MA?? Hi Rita. I don't think that there is any link--none that I have heard of. I'm so sorry that you have an endocrine problem to struggle with on top of the MA you've had taken care of. I know it's not fair.
