RE: Banked Points

In regard to banked points, I am just starting my 3rd week and I

think that the use of banked points should be used only for special

occasions. It is a good idea to vary your point range from higher to

lower within your range. I have personally found so far that the use

of banked points on a daily basis for little extras can be dangerous

to the weight loss at least for me. I think it is better to avoid

using them unless you have something special coming up. I also

changed my weigh in day and the online journal hasn't changed to

reflect my day change from Sat. (originally) to Mon. The journal

still voids out my banked points on Sat. instead of on Sun. I have

to keep track of the things I do on Sat. like house cleaning and

going out to swing dance, then add the exercise to my Sun. journal in

order to have the points reflect the right banked points. I don't

know if the online journaling will ever update to reflect the day

change, but this way I can at least get the lost points back,

otherwise the points I bank on Sat. disappear.

However, using the banked points can be dangerous as I said in the

overall weight loss area.

I can understand how hard it is for people facing their monthly

cycles and the added water gain. I have no solution for this except

to have to expect to just realize that this will cause more

difficulty in the weekly weigh ins.

A good idea is to keep up the exercising and not to worry too much

about using the banked points because the use of these banked points

can be harmful especially to those of you facing the PMS thing.

Also, consider your age and realize that the older we are, the harder

it can be to lose weight. Men tend to have a better overall weight

loss than women...just the way their bodies are. So, don't get

discouraged and keep exercising and counting the exercise in the

journals, but don't depend too heavily on the banked points for

eating more food unless you find you are just dying for that

chocolate. Salt can be a real hazzard too, but in the hot weather,

it might be a good idea for our bodies to use Propel for some of the

water when exercising to replace some of the nutrient loss from

sweating so much when exercising. I haven't tested this out...the

Propel, but am considering it. What does anyone else think about the

Propel?

I must admit that I am concerned about my Mon. weigh-in as I attended

a birthday party for my girlfriend this Friday and am afraid even

though I ate mostly vegies from the buffet that I won't have a good

show of loss tomorrow. But, I won't get discouraged because I know

it took a long time to build up the extra weight and much as I wish

it would just disappear overnight after a good night of swing

dancing, that it won't. I tend to be bottom heavy and sometimes when

I do lose, I still look big because the bottom part of my body still

appears large.

Wishing everyone a good loss for the coming week!

I also have to keep telling myself that it took a long time to get it on and will take awhile to get it off. I tend to be very impatient and want immediate results! :)

I only plan on using some of my banked points one day a week and treating myself to a whopper jr. without mayo and small fries. I have something like 14 built up in the 4 days I have been on ww. I know I can only use 10 of them though.
