The California Connection

This year’s annual PLS connection will be held October 26, 2002 at the

Handlery Hotel in San Diego, California.

There will be lots of time for socializing with other PLSers and

their families, as well as informative presentations from

the leading experts in PLS. Meet the recipients of the recently

awarded PLS research grants.

“Meet and Greet” in the Lobby Lounge followed by no-host dinner

Saturday, October 26, 2002

Morning meeting - $25 per attendee, payable in cash at the door

8:00 am – 9:30 am Continental breakfast and socializing

9:30 am – 12:00 pm Presentations with mid –morning

break/refreshments

12:00 pm Lunch (menu choices to be announced)

Afternoon Open for sight-seeing or resting up

Evening Group function to be announced

Registration Information

To make your room reservations, call the Handlery @ 1-,

and ask for group reservations, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST.

You must refer to the group name “California Connection” to book at the

special group rate of $99 per night, and for your reservation to be

included in the

group room block. This rate is available to our group for the 3 days prior

to

and following our event, based on hotel availability. Space is limited so

make your

reservations early.

Our reservation cutoff date is September 25, 2002.

The Handlery is making every effort to accommodate our Handicap needs,

positioning us close to the meeting room and easy access to the dining

facilities. A

limited number of handicap rooms with roll-in showers are available, but

should be

reserved for those that need them. Our entire block of rooms are handicap

accessible.

Complimentary airport transportation, based on schedule and availability,

will be

provided by the Handlery.
