Guest guest
Thanks . I am from Indiana and would like to lose 40 - 50 lbs. Ok, Fibromyalgia.....It is 24/7 pain in the muscles. I have had it since 1993 and am pretty well use to alot of the pain, but sometimes when I go into what is called a "flare" I have to have help to get up off the couch, etc. Usually I have done something to put myself in that position, such as tubing, landing wrong on the trampoline, etc. But, sometimes there's no known reason. I am also tired all the time and when I wake up in the mornings I am more tired than when I went to bed. (We don't get into the stage 4 sleep and that's when we repair our muscles and that's also when we get our most rested sleep.) Alot of FM'ers also have other things along with it, such as Chronic Fatigue, Irritable bowel syndrome, etc. I have both of these things. I think exercise helps me more than anything, but I work full time as a nurse, have 4 children, 3 grandchildren, and go to school part time. So, I have a hard time getting the exercise in. Hope that helps. Sharon Re: Newby Welcome Sharon. I am from Tulsa, OK. We do have a great group. I have only been here a little over a week and the ladies and guys are great support. For our edification, please explain Fibromyalgia. I have heard about it but don't know exactly what it is. I believe a friend in California has it, but not sure. Anyway, welcome and good luck with your weight loss success. in OK> > Hi. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sharon and I just joined here yesterday. I really need support with losing weight, as I'm sure everyone does. Can't wait to get to know everyone. I am also on an email list with Fibromyalgia sufferers and we are like family now.> Sharon

Guest guest
Thank you so much for your educational description. My you are a busy lady too. My prayers and thoughts will be with you. I am glad to know exercise helps. It is so important and I have to force myself to do it. This to me is the hardest part of losing weight. Also I am working in Louisville, KY on a hospital project for JHHS, Memorial, UMC, U of L, and Shelbyville. Do you work for one of these? My home is in Tulsa. Good luck to you. in OK > > > > Hi. Guest guest
Also I am working in Louisville, KY on a hospital project for JHHS, Memorial, UMC, U of L, and Shelbyville. Do you work for one of these? My home is in Tulsa.I don't work in a hospital. I work in a long term care facility. I actually work on an assisted living unit or I wouldn't be able to do it. I can pretty much sit down, stand, or walk when I need to. No-one here seems to think I can lose the weight except for my husband. He's very supportive though.
