Guest guest
Wow - It sounds like they were able to get a lot done! I am so glad you have a firm diagnosis. It sounds like you should have quite a few answers after you see your doctor. Here's to continued good healing. UD
Guest guest
Amy, Thanks for the update. We've been thinking about you. I'm not sure what that all means and will look forward to more info when you see the doc. But, it sounds like you are getting answers - and that's great! Feel better and write when you can. Guest guest
Amy, In spite of the unpleasantness of finding that not all is well, I am so glad to hear that you are getting some answers! If you have any questions about dealing with PCOS, feel free to write me privately. So glad you dont have endo. How was the resection done, and do they think they got it all? I'd envy you on your " good " pain meds, but I am coked to the gills with 15 mg. of Valium at the moment, in preparation for a dental visit. Never tried it before, and so far, I feel like a noodle . . . hope it helps me forget my early experiences with a dentist who surely must have been an escaped Nazi war criminal. Guest guest
Amy , I hope you are feeling better as the day goes on...the shoulder pain is certainly uncomfortable, but it will go away (the gas had that effect on every muscle of my body, but it was gone in 48 hours). <<....I have a septate uterus, with the very long >septum all the way down to my cervix.>> I'm so glad you had the lap/hyst to diagnose your MA. They were thinking you were BU, if I recall? <<And I have >two good sized inguinal hernias...which is VERY RARE >for females to have.>> Do you mind if I ask what these are? Is this what may have being causing your pain? (I think you have had painful periods? If not, accept my apologies getting confused...) <<Dr. Austin removed >the septum, or at least part of it...I wasn't that >awake when he talked to me after surgery, so I will >know more exact details after my follow up appointment >with him on April 8th. >> Glad to hear the septum has been removed. Will Dr. Austin do an HSG or Hysteroscopy to check on the residual septum that is left? I was happy to take a look post-surgery and be able to see the difference; especially after a cycle. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Guest guest
Amy Hi, a late note I'm afraid just to say that I'm glad your op went so well and good luck with your follow up appointment on the 8th.
