Guest guest
We are trying to bring the Arthritis Foundation back to Oregon. A national person is coming out here in late November, and we are having a meeting with her Dec. 1 at the Children's Hosp. I would love these bracelets to get things kick started. Guest guest
Liz, Thanks for sending the reminder to everyone. Hear, Hear!!! I know our rheumy is very involved, and my goal was to get my act going for fundraising after spring break, which just ended today. Guest guest
Hi , Robs page looks great and he has nearly reached his goal. Rob is a very good looking kid. Its nice you will still have him close by at least for his first year of college. When I read about your posts which speak of Rob's independence and the requirement of you having to let him take over with some of his health care needs, it shows me that there is going to be a whole new chapter that many of us will face as our kids continue to grow up. Sometimes, letting go seems like the hardest job of all. You have obviously raised a great kid and its nice to have a parent on the board that can give us a word of advice as our elementary kids will be teenagers before we know it! :-) (Aundrea 9 systemic)-- - In , H Schulz <snooksmama@j...> wrote: > I thought it would be great if everybody could post their Arthritis Walk > page addresses. Guest guest
Your site looks good--Hard to believe that is the face of arthritis. Rob is a handsome young man. I still can't believe sometimes that Brad has Arthritis and will probably deal with it the rest of his life. I would give you are address but it doesn't have his picture. I could not get Brad's picture on the page--How did you get his picture added to it? > I thought it would be great if everybody could post their Arthritis Walk > page addresses. Guest guest
Just checked out Rob's site and it is great! I am not sure if we are going to be able to walk this year - my youngest has a volleyball tournament the day scheduled for Chicago - but if we do I will post Chris' info. There are a lot of similarities between Rob and Chris. If I can figure out how to post a picture, I will post Chris' graduation picture. He has similar looks to Rob! Good luck with the donations, Michele Arthritis Walk I thought it would be great if everybody could post their Arthritis Walk page addresses. I'll get it started....here's Rob's... http://LouisvilleArthritisWalk.kintera.org/robert I don't think that their search engine works too well, so I'd love to see everybody's pages. Alia, I noticed you posted about the AJAO convention. What did you think of the agenda?? I didn't see some of the sessions that I thought I would...I was especially interested in a session on spondyloarthropathy, for my hubbie to attend, since he didn't get to go last year... Please post your websites, everybody! Would love to see those gorgeous kids! and Rob 15 Spondy

Guest guest
i'm walking this year too... and i think its important to mention that the arthritis walk offers 2 routes (at least it does in my area) the longest being 3 miles and the shorter one is only 1 mile which is much easier to accomplish for many more folks with arthritis (although, i know not all). they offer these 2 options knowing that folks with arthritis are not always capable of walking far distances like in other walks for charity. you might also check and see if your area is allowing participants to walk with their dogs. charlotte, nc is allowing that with proper proof of vaccinations and i know that its easier to walk with " my baby " than without sometimes! alison Shu² www.shumusings.com www.spiritraindrops.com [Editor's Note: Alison, thanks to you and your dog for walking " for the cure " . You are right, for many of us, even a one mile walk is like climbing Mt Everest. I can swim a mile but cannot walk one, so I am grateful to all the folks who get out there and raise funds and awareness for our cause. Thank you. Guest guest
Wonderful that you did the walk... I always say I would like to walk for some causes but my afflictions don't even allow me to walk very far in groceries stores and I hurt to much after... But kudo's to you for putting in that effort... Love and peace always, Shaun and Barb...
Guest guest
Hi everyone, This is Steph in VA. I survived Part 2 of my wisdom teeth removal fairly well. Other than some chin bruising, I am doing pretty well. Today was my 1st day on solid food. Woohoo! I even made it through my Arthritis Walk today (surgery was Thursday). My team raised about $300, with more money still coming in through May. Our Charlottesville, VA walk raised over $30,000! Take care, Steph in VA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Join us Saturday May 5th at UVA's Stadium for the Charlottesville Arthritis Walk!
