Guest guest
Wow, Tamra. I wish I had your problem. What's your point range? Maybe you can make a conscious effort to add 2-3 pts to every meal. It's not that hard to do if you go ahead and have juice instead of water, or add more fruit. Or get a nice dessert in the middle of the day. Have a scoop of REAL ice cream after lunch. That would be about 5 of those points right there. If you want to stay healthy, though... you can just use 'real' bread instead of light bread for sandwiches and the like... try and use the fattier versions of things that you've been so good to eat light versions of. Shootin' off the hip here since I NEVER have this problem.
Guest guest
Having more juice, that's a good idea. I do have a cup of juice every morning for breakfast along with a fruit for a snack item. Lately i've been using regular bread instead of fat free. Here is a sample of what I ate yesterday: 1/2 large whole wheat bagel 1 Tb. Cream Cheese (regular) 1 Cup OJ Apple Water 2 Slices Oat Bread Tuna Fish 1 Tb Low Fat Mayo 1 C Watermelon Diet Coke Water No afternoon snack today, was too busy 1 C Mashed Potatoes 3oz Cubed Steak 1 C Corn 1 C Wax Beans (from the garden) Water -:- Tamra -:- **************************************************** Just updated!!! Guest guest
I know what you mean. I usually have the same problem. Try adding regular stuff, not low fat. I have also occasionally added ice cream or regular pepsi, not all the time though. I even reward myself once or twice a week with a Starbucks mocha frappucino (to die for!). I always journal whatever I do have and have never gone over my maximum. Hope this helps, Maureen > I need some help. Guest guest
Well Tamra, you pose a challenge!! I might try eating a larger quantity at a couple of your meals. Maybe have the whole bagel at breakfast. The whole can of tuna at lunch with regular mayo wrapped in two tortillas. Add another protein at dinner or have a double portion of meat. Add a bag of popcorn a couple times a week. Make frosty's a couple times a week after dinner (8oz vanilla yogurt, 8oz milk, 1 tablespoon pudding mix-any flavor, 10-12 ice cubes - put in blender until smooth). Be sure to eat if you're hungry - I don't want you to go into starvation mode!! ~~ I need some help. I have continually had 8 - 10 points left over each day.I have been eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and even a snack in betweenbut still have those points left over. What i've been doing is eating asnack at night time to use up some of those points, although the snack i'vebeen choosing isn't all that healthy. Any suggestions onhow to incorporate 8 points into my daily food menu?-:- Tamra -:-

Guest guest
, my body sure isn't in starvation mode anymore. It was before though. I weigh 257.2 pounds and have between 28 - 33 points to use each day. In the past, before ww, I was lucky if I ate 2 meals a day. I usually didn't eat breakfast and normally didn't eat lunch but did snack around 3pm while watching guiding light. Then I would eat with the family at dinner time. My biggest feat so far has been eating the three meals a day. I do eat when i'm hungry also and don't feel deprived at all. It's actually scaring me a bit. Normally when I tried to lose weight I would eat salad upon salad, and I HATE salad! So this is making me worried that I'm not eating salad and still staying on program. I'm hoping the scales show that it continues to work. -:- Tamra -:- **************************************************** Just updated!!!
