Guest guest
Judy: I've had the hip pain before due to RA, but I don't know if it would cause your upper back pain. Could you have pulled a muscle or have a pinched nerve? I've had a pinched nerve between my shoulder blades before and it was very painful. Hopefully, you're feeling better before too long. > Hi all, > > I woke up this morning with pain in my hips again (though the other > pain seems to be kept at bay though not as much as when I started the > new med.) Guest guest
Judi, are you having any breathing problems? Your symptoms sound like when I had pleurisy. Whatever it is, see your GP if it doesn't go away soon. Hugs June ----- Original Message ----- From: nonny46 Hi all, I woke up this morning with pain in my hips again (though the other pain seems to be kept at bay though not as much as when I started the new med.) I also started having pain in my upper back, down around where my bra would fasten, and it hurts to walk and it hurts to turn side to side. I just reached down to pick up a kleenex from where I'm sitting and that hurt too. Any ideas about what could be causing this? I don't know which doctor to call if it doesn't go away. Guest guest
I agree, it sounds like pleurisy pain. Sorry that you are hurting so much, and hope you are more comfortable soon. Guest guest
Hello everyone! I'm suffering from an Upper Respiratory Infection and secondary sinusitis. I've had bronchitis the past couple of months and I think the two rounds of Avelox must have helped it as my doctor didn't notice any wheezing at my appointment on Tuesday. He did give me Sulfamethoxazole DS to take twice a day for 10 days, so this will be only my third day of taking it. Today when I woke up I was sleeping on my back when I normally sleep on my side. I have back pain in my upper back in the middle of my shoulder blades. I thought perhaps it was from sleeping in a wrong position, yet when I clear my throat or cough, that seems to be when the pain hurts. So I'm not sure if its Fibromyalgia Myofascia Pain or if its related to the coughing with the URI. I barely coughed with my bronchitis, and I only had a small cough when I went to the dr Tuesday..I've been taking a decongestant that he recommended and my antibiotic. Does anyone else with FMS ever have this type of pain? Here I was all excited as today was the first day I didn't wake up with such an awful sinusitis headache, it went to the back instead:) I just want to be better so I can get back to taking my meds to help the inflammation!! ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Get easy, one-click access to your favorites. The Pleura is a sack around the lungs - upper respiratory infections can cause an accumulation of fluid in the Pleura Cavity. Often it is accompanyed by chills & fever - but not always. The main thing about Pleurisy is the painful breathing & coughing. I have had Pleurisy several times & the pain is excruciating! It is most often triggered by pnumonia but upper resporatory infections can bring it on too. You have my deepest sympathy & I hope yours is a very mild case. Something else you should consider is your heart. When women have heart attacks they usually don't experience the same symptoms as men. Back pain or neck pain is more likely to occur in women during heart attacks. At any rate you really need to see your doctor as soon as possible. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. Feel better soon - > ______________________________________________________________________ ______________ > Get easy, one-click access to your favorites. > Make your homepage. > http://www./r/hs >
