Guest guest
I am still trying to figure out HC dosing. I only take enough to stop the burning in my legs, the slight nausea, or sometimes breathlessness when it is not time for more T3. It is taking 60 mg/day. 10 on rising, 10 at breakfast, 7.5 at 10, 7.5 at 12, 7.5 at 3, 5 at 6, 10, 2, 4AM. I will try to do less today, but if I have those symptoms, doesn't that mean the cortisol is being used up and not creating a problematical excess? Did 95 mcg T3 the last 2 days? Seems to be good, but my legs felt heavy. Not much energy. Better than a couple weeks ago though. Dorothy
Guest guest
Gads thta is a horrendous dose. Burning in your legs is not a low cortils symptom but could be neuropathy. Breathless ness is probabyl from all the HC using up tons of T3.I hate ot say this but I fear you have gone way higer than you shoud. Is your BP high or glucose? Have you checked glucose? I certainyl wouldbe monitoring it closely on that dose as that may well show an excess. Guest guest
BP is fine. Glucose was 112 a month ago, but that was at 200 mcg T3 and 40 mg HC. The burning legs goes away with HC. Breathlessness is relieved by HC sometimes, but usually by T3. My HR at 85 mcg T3 was 64 for a couple days. Now after 95 is is 70 this morning and my temp is still 96.8. I will cut down on HC today and see what happens. I feel better so maybe it will work. Dorothy > Gads thta is a horrendous dose. Guest guest
If I were oyu I would get a glucose meter adn keep closer track of your glucose It does nto take much to cause neuropathy. Either ALA or Benfotiamine might reverse that burining in your legs. Guest guest
Well neuropathy can be caused by hypothyroidism too. Guest guest
> Well neuropathy can be caused by hypothyroidism too. That's what I think. Plus chiropractic problems. I switched chiros and have gotten a couple of much better adjustments. So maybe the leg will start getting better. Sometimes though both legs burn and I had decided that was fibromyalgia. I think I did not ramp down fast enough from stress dosing last weekend when I had to do an out-of-town fair. I guess I can't expect HC supplements to heal my body after doing more than I should in this condition. Maybe. I don't know. Dorothy
Guest guest
Hi Dorothy, I believe that a vitamin B12 supplement is recommended for burning sensations in limbs. I have suffered from aches in the ligaments of my arms and legs for years with accompanying sensensations of aching and burning in my feet. At the moment I am taking coconut oil for it. I believe it might be related to an RT3 problem (in my case). Since I have started with the coconut oil, there seems to be an lessening in aches and pains and a rise in body temperature, although I have not quite arrived at a consistent 37°C throughout the day. I'm going to keep on with the coconut oil for a few months for the burning feet. If it doesn't work, I'll try the B12.. Hope this info is useful. Guest guest
I am taking B12. I will add that I have had no aching joints since I started iodine. Even today with a big rain, I had no " weather symptoms " . I do get aching hips when I take Vit D sometimes. I was doing OK with the 100 mcg tabs. Have to get back to those smaller doses. My burning feet have always been hypoth symptoms and went away with Th incr. Guest guest
This is a better day so far. At 9AM my tmep is already 98.2. Am trying to hold off on my 2nd 10 mg HC until 10, but feeling a bit queasy in my stomach. Seems to me that means I do not have enough HC. Made a short trip to the store, got pretty light headed, head felt heavy driving home, hands a bit shaky. Dorothy

Guest guest
Is that right? Mine seems to have gotten so much better on Armour and doctors have no clue about why I have it. I don't have diabetes. It went from numbness and stabbing pains and needles to just numbness.
