I'll bet the deed is done by now and she's happily settling in on the

nest, clucking softly to herself and occasionally throwing bits of

Hope you are feeling better emotionally. I was OK this cycle until

day 16, then cried all morning before the IUI!

Good luck -- hope it went well and your egg(s) get lucky!

>I thought I was going a little wacko because I had so much pain in

my abdomen today. I was wondering if it was from being due to

ovulate, but then passed it off as reading into every little symptom.

Then to my surprise, I read about ov pain on chlomid in the postings.

This was my first cycle with significant ov pain (first time on

clomid), boy was I surprised.

Good luck , hope we hear good news after 2 weeks!

  • 3 months later...

Hi ,

I don't know anything about IUI, but I do know about natural family

planning from the class I took. And they told us that the best time

to have intercourse is 2-4 days before ovulation. And then, after

ovulation, it can take some women up to 3 days to have a temp rise.

Which is me all the way (I can feel ovulation, and which side, too).

So, if I followed your doctors advice, and had intercouse on the

evening of my first high temp, my egg would be 3 days old. 3 days

old is 2 days gone....that egg would be history by then. I'd never

get pregnant, unless by some miracle.

Perhaps you might get her to reexplain this??? This doesn't make any

sense to me either.

Good luck and enjoy your break!
