It is a long tedious process but one worth travleing if it works! We are hard owrkers so we will carry over, and a good idea about getting it in the IEP. I did take a Speech therapist whenever possible or I tried to tape it. I never rely solely on myself to remember everything!! Lori is good about writing stuff down as well! Guest guest Posted March 8, 2002 Report Share Posted March 8, 2002 hi jill, the appt w/lori was great! great! she is wonderful. erika worked real well w/her. lori saw things that we see but ENT's and swallow studies have not! now i know i am not imagining! we set up a plan and go back in august. she has set " realistic goals " that erika will be an oral eater, maybe onyl pureed foods but she will eat! she also feels erika handles her secretions well.
