Guest guest
Hi ~Dana So good to hear from you. Yes I am feeling scared and very alone. You got it in one! I feel a bit better with Val's suggestion about the Atkin's diet which I am going to do. I have put on a lot of weight and cannot continue eating as I have been. So maybe the protein will help the hypoglaecemia which seems to be an underlying problem for me. I am so sorry you are going thru this! I am in about the same boat as you at this point. I am not bed-bound though, still able to function but, barely! It is truly horrible, isn't it, especially not knowing what to do for the best or what the outcome will be. It all started with my last Armour raise. Stress dosing bc of severe fast heart beats and I haven't been able to wean down bc when I do, I get severe affects. I am having periods of facial sweating, fast, pounding heart rate, fluid retention, depression..depression..<WBR>...you name it! Every time I try to lowe worse and I cannot get a handle on it bc I have to work and cannot be sweating, shaking etc.....at work. Excuse my very bad memory (I am sure we may have discussed this before) but how much magnesium are you taking at bedtime? I upped mine to 500 mg. from 400 mg. How much h/c are you now taking? I had an acupuncture session last week which helped to stop the fast heart rate. Would you consider something like that? It sorted me out in terms of the palps and I noticed they only began again when I expended too much energy. Is there any chance you could take a week's sick leave from work so that you can deal with this whilst taking it very easy i.e. not expending energy going to work which is using up h.c? What are you eating? I think the regular high-protein, low-carb eating is going to help me. I wish I could take a week off and try to lower my HC that way. Is this not possible? You ARE ill. I am extremely sad and aggravated and can only imagine you feel the same or worse! Yes I feel like I am barely alive at the moment. Have ust managed a bath and feel very pleased with myself for managing that at least but it is mid-afternoon! My poor dog is sitting staring at me with begging eyes and I cannot take him out. I keep wondering how it get to this point? All I want is to be able to wean off the HC now, and have no one to help me do so.....I am sure you feel all alone, like I do. It is really hard to try to explain our symptoms and for anyone to REALLY know what is going on. Today my morning temp. is 96.2! What are your average temps like? Mine are unstable with a low early morning temp like you. I think that the increased HC has depleted all of the increase and more of Armour in my body. This may have happened to me also. Still I decreased quarter grain just to get the palps gone. They did go but not fully until I had the acupuncture and now they appear if I expend energy i.e. walk. Now, I am left, weak and am now getting sick again. (bad cold) Now, what am I supposed to do??? Getting sick on top of all of this......sigh Just been reading that a cold is not always a negative thing. It enables the body to shed old, toxic cells and replace with new, healthy ones. Are you taking max. amount of Vit C i.e. super-dosing? Are you taking B5? seasalt? Sorry that I went on about myself but, just wanted to let you know that you are not the only one who is having a difficult time with this whole thing.....YOU ARE NOT ALONE! It does really help to know this. Today is my day off and I am resting and will try to reduce my HC today. I am off tomorrow and will hope that I can get a handle on this the next 2 days so I can feel more normal again. I am also scared that I have ruined my Adrenals in all of this mess.....what have I done permantely to my poor body by this guessing game?? Yes that is my fear too. I don't want to leave an impression that HC is bad for you! That for most it really helps and heals! But, for those of us who were not maybe as SMART with dosing and figuring things out, it hasn't been good for us. I pray that you and I will be healed soon. I will say a prayer for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers!! Please know that. :0) I am thinking of buying homeopathic adrenal gland tomorrow and am just waiting to hear back from the homeopathic pharmacy about what strength dose I should take and for how long. Ditto Thyrodinium, homeopathic thyroid. I will let you know how that goes. Mo www.NOVACounselling.com

I am confused as well Dana. Just reading your post made me think that my temps did not go high when I went hyper recently - the highest they went at that time was 97.7. Does this mean that i was NOT hyper? That the problems I was having were adrenal only? I cannot help but think that it is going to be nigh impossible for you to decide what your true temp. is until the viral infection has passed. It may be the case that you are both hyper AND your temp. is doubly increased by the infection but only time will tell for sure I suppose. It will be interesting to see what your labs show. Still in a very bad way at this end. Had to risk a short walk this morning to get in some essentials from the local shops and I got panicky and shakey just doing that and my legs felt like they were made of jelly. Been in bed ever since. Have started the Atkins Induction Diet and hope that this will help. Mo www.NOVACounselling.com

Guest guest
Mo, Thanks for your post....I don't have a lot of time right now to reply but, wanted you to know that I just posted that I might be actually hyper now? (read post titled " OM-Gosh-I think I might know what is going on " ) Bought a new thermometer yesterday and have either a fever or I am now hyper! Seems I might have had a defective thermometer all this time...will see in a few days if that is the case, if my temp. does go down. Might explain why I have been having the heart pounding, sweating etc....since my last Armour raise? Anyways, thanks again for your post and will try to answer some of your questions to me soon. ;0) p.s. are you feeling any better? Dana > > Hi ~Dana > So good to hear from you.
