Hi CC

Great that you got tested now and know what you are dealing with and that

you have a good doctor to support you in future.

I was surprised to see how low your cortisol is, even at midnight when I

kind of thought it might be high(ish) with your insomnia problems.

Hashis I don't know much about myself so I will leave it for others, more

knowledgeable to comment.

Yeah, Mo, I know! We talked quite a bit about the fact that my cortisol is so

low and I still can't sleep! He and I are going to try and get to the bottom of

it. Here are my labs again so that anyone who missed it because they were asleep

can see them:

Here are my most recent lab results, from the past two weeks:

QUEST DIAGNOSTICS:

Dr. Bain agreed with my using HC, 20 mgs. daily and will provide me with a

prescription once my HC runs out. He will continue to prescribe Armour. He is

prescribing Pregnelolone (compounded through WIP) but I can't remember how much.

I see him again in 3 weeks. I am going to post these on all the forums I belong

to. It turns out I have Hashi's, so I need to learn more about that, for sure.

Hi ,

When my cortisol was really low (pre-HC) I could hardly sleep either.

Perhaps it's a contributing factor...wired but tired?

Hmmm......, that is a thought. I did go to bed at 9 p.m. last night; so

tired I couldn't keep my eyes open, but I still woke up twice during the night.

I do feel some better today, but I am so doggone tired - hard to explain to the

doc how I feel; in some ways I actually have more energy and am coping better,

but I am so sleep much of the time that it doesn't make any difference! I took

Isocort from the beginning of last September, but switched to HC 2-3 weeks ago.

Tests still showed very low. Not quite sure what to do about it.
