Here are a few questions to ask. Do you need those benefits? If you do not

have you though about working from home?

I work from home part-time and their are many others that work from home

full-time. There are many different types of options of work from home jobs.

Just a thought

What do you like to do? Do you like to write? I've read about people who write

for those in-flight magazines the airlines have. They say it's a good way to

break into writing, and I think there are online writing tutorials you can do.

I really do not know what to tell you most people work as independent

contractors. Meaning you have an investment into your business. I owned all

my

own computer equipment. I did need to buy a business telephone, headset for

telephone and USB headset for my other contract that I do that uses VOIP.

As far as a printer. I have a full office set up with a laser printer. If

I get a large print job I usually put it on an USB Drive and have it printed

at Kinkos or office supply print center. This is an option. However,

printers are cheap...you can get a cheap printer for around $50. Also if you

are

not a member of a local freecycle group join one. I always have stuff I do

not want and something I need. It works well.

There is vocational rehab that will help you get set up to work from home.

I know my vocational rehab did assist me with my laptop, table, telephone and

headset purchase.

Most companies should not ask you for more that $30...that is for

background/credit check. I do most telephone work. Either inbound

sales/customer

service or currently I am working outbound telemarketing which I really love.

There are soooo many companies and arrangements to choose from however, most

require you to have the basic office equipment.

try these links

_www.wahm.com_ (http://www.wahm.com)

Both have a pretty list of the most popular options.

Thank you. When I get my back pay from SSI/SSD I will have to get my computer

fixed/replaced & then get the other stuff. Living @ /below poverty level does

not help any.
