Jesus, I'll pay any amount of money if it'll make me feel better. But how do I know how to treat this and for how long? God, I feel like I just continue to find more and more problems and I add a med and still I feel like hell on earth. Well when someone suggested to me that I may have candida problems I was doubtful but, just in case, when I was in my local Holland & Barrett (vitamin shop) I bought a herbal anti-candida product. WELL within 24 hours I thought I was going to die......... So there was the proof. You can do the same if you need the evidence but I think it is pretty certain, don't you? There are yahoo Candida groups that you could join that could support you with this or I am happy to support you here. Yes the symptoms are similar to thyroid/adrenal. Guest guest
Hi Mo, I'll explain why I had to start stress dosing with Armour. A few years ago I noticed that I was getting headaches when I started my period. My holistic doc suspected a sex hormone issue and sure enough my progesterone was low. Since adding the cream, I had no headaches when I started my period. But last summer when I started the HC, I started getting the headaches when I got my period. Val suspected this was because HC uses up my Armour and suggested I stress dose a few days before my period. It helps a little. But frankly, since adding the HC I don't feel better, and then during my period I feel worse!! I've since doubled my Armour dose, but I still feel sick virtually every single day. And I've never noticed a difference when adding any vitamins/supplements or even the sea salt. Most days I'm shocked I get out of bed and make it to work. I was looking through my emails the other day and noticed one about how high insulin will keep cortisol levels low. Well, I feel like I can't lift my head without tons of sugar and caffeine. I used to totally avoid soda - diet or regular. Now I feel like I can't function or stay awake without it. It's a viscious circle - the low cortisol makes me tired and fatigued so I drink and eat caffeine and sugar, yet my cortisol will never raise without lowering my sugar levels. Yet everytime I cut out sugar and carbs, I feel like I'm withdrawing from heroin and I can't even deal. I hate to say this, but I have a friend who is HIV+ and he is so healthy and strong from the medicines designed to boost his immune system. And I struggle every day!! Dare I say it would be easier to be HIV+ then have the chronic hormone issues I have?????? So far I'm not noticing any change. I just think it's ironic that my temps finally raised after stress dosing an extra grain, and yet it still wasn't 98.6!! Does this mean I need an extra grain at the very least???? Soooo frustrating to understand. Hi Sammie Dr Peatfield says in his book something like temps will only rise slowly and sometimes will not get to 98.6. I think that's what he said anyway? anyone read his book to confirm or otherwise? Tell me more, Sammie, about stress-dosing with Armour pse? I know of one other person in England who does this and when I tried to copy her when I was attending a three-day training event I took some extra Armour and just went hyper!!
