It is two years since I had my ASI and I am thinking I probably slept a few hours of the afternoon that day as that was my daily experience for many years until I started taking h.c and Armour. thanks. Next time you take a nap take your Temp when you wake you will see what I am taking about. I feel when you nap your Cortisol can go higher or lower when you wake Well i have been napping these last few days Phil and my temps have been LOW but I did not take notice of the temp. immediately after sleeping. Interesting. What is the reason for the cortisol either going up OR down after waking Phil? thanks. mo www.NOVACounselling.com

Guest guest
I just realised that on the day I did the salivary test for my cortisol, dhea-s, I took a nap around 3pm (exhausted, as always) then got up at four and did the 4pm salivary sample (which ended up being the highest reading on the curve). Did napping in the middle of the day screw up my values? I have been taking the adrenal concentrate the doc recommended, but every time I get about a week or so into the once-a-day dose (he wants me to ramp up to three a day), I get sick. A cold, bronchitis, or something like that. And I almost never get sick. Could the adrenal concentrate be the problem?
